Here at DFW ALERTS, we try to get you important information in a timely manner.
Our services are free to everyone. That includes our Twitter feeds, Facebook and radio talk show. As well as our live streams of Traffic, Weather, Accidents and News Events.
What many of you may not know is that we also (funds permitting) go out on the scenes of accidents, fires and where news is happening around DFW. In those cases, we provide you with exclusive photographs, videos and, in some cases, live streaming raw video.
When we are on a scene, we try to have water for law enforcement and emergency workers on the scene. Though, I have not heard of a case where we have refused a bottle of water to anyone who has requested one.
All of these things cost money. Here at DFW ALERTS, we rely on YOU, our followers and friends, to provide the funds and support we need to continue.
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:
Q: How can I send funds to DFW ALERTS?
A: You can make a payment via PayPal to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Q: I only have $5.00 that I can send, is that enough?
A: Absolutely, ANY amount that you can afford to send is very helpful.
Q: I am not sure about sending money, is there another way I can help?
A: There sure is, we can always use bottled water and small bottles of fruit juices. Also, if your company offers product(s) and/or service(s) you think might be useful to us, contact: email@example.com and let us know what product(s) and/or services your company can offer. Q: How can my company become a sponsor of DFW ALERTS?
A: Contact: firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know how much (per month) your company is willing to provide for sponsorship. You can also let us know of products and/or services that your company would be willing to provide.
As you can see, there are a few ways that you can help. Please feel free to contact us anytime at email@example.com

According to the Parker County Sheriff’s Office blog, Hope will continue to remain in the care of Veterinary Technician Ronda Sears for the next 3 weeks till she is well enough to go to her permanent new home with the Moncrief family:

Watch this disturbing Video about the abuse of Hope, The Pug-Mix Puppy. Truly amazing that she has not withdrawn and lost complete trust in humans.
“Hope” A new name name for a pup with a new Beginning. According to @CBSDFW, the pug mix now has a home with Charlie and Kit Moncrief (well known by Parker County Sherrif Larry Fowler), who “owned the property where the dog was found”
Hope’s story began on Monday July 09 when according to @NBCDFW a Frightened dog with tongue pulled out and snout taped shut was found by a passerby Concerned Citizens searched for dog, after she ran off two different times, and she was taken to Bowie Drive Animal Hospital
According to several articles, the outpouring of support and people stepping forward to offer donations towards Hope’s care and for the reward fund towards information of her abuser. I, also, HOPE that whoever was responsible for Hope’s mistreatment is brought to justice!!
As we understand, pretty much all of Hope’s medical care has been covered by donations. However, anyone who has owned a pet knows that there are other expenses involved in there care including food, veterinary, etc . If you would like to help with these ongoing expenses please check out our Help Hope page via Go Fund Me

DFW ALERTS does not only tweet and RT messages on Twitter™, we also go out in the field and report from the scenes of accidents, fires and other local news stories. Doing this requires that we have sponsors and people, like yourself, that are willing to provide funds for things such as; gas, tires, vehicle maintenance, equipment and the like.
WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP
We have made it easy for you to help by providing funds we can use to continue to serve you.
All you need to do is go to: paypal.com and make a payment (send funds to): firstname.lastname@example.org
Funds in ANY amount are useful. Do not think that we do not appreciate someone who sends us $1.00 as much as we do those who send more, we do.
So, if you have the ability to do so, please help us continue to serve you today. THANK YOU for your time.
There have been a few people out there who have stepped up and done what they could to help DAN out and to those we say – Thank you.
If every follower could donate $5 there we would be enough to correct this equipment failure issue we’ve been having and have some left over for the next issue. We realize of course that not everyone can give $5 every month, but even $1 a month can make a huge difference in our ability to continue to provide you with the information we do!!
The DFW Alerts Network is not a large company with money at our disposal. Nor do we have major sponsors or backers providing us with the funds necessary to keep this going. It is made up of only a few of us doing what we can out of our own (dwindling) back pockets. You may think that there is no cost in doing what we do (after all aren’t we just tweeting and ReTweeting??) But even just “tweeting requires having “equipment” to be able to tweet from (phone, laptop, something). But it’s not just about tweeting, it’s also about getting out there and actually reporting on what’s going on (not just ReTweeting the news from other people). In order to do that we need working vehicles and the gas to get to where the news is. We also need the ability to take pictures & videos of these events.
We do this for you, our followers…. Don’t you think we’re worth a $5 a month or even just a couple $$???
As you may know, we recently had a major equipment failure. It keeps us from direct contact with Twitter™ and our email.
We need your help, If you can spare $5 – $25 you can help us fix our equipment issue. Go to: http://www.gofundme.com/siqkk and donate what you can.

Above are example photos of the graphics we would like to add to the “alert car”. The actual graphics may vary a bit, but this gives you an idea.
We desperately need a sponsor or sponsors to fund the use of the alert car for going to the scene of accidents, fires, and the like.
The sponsor(s) would provide funds for fuel, tires, maintenance (pretty much anything to do with the car). The sponsor(s) name(s) / logo(s) will be placed on both rear quarter panels. If one company is willing to be the full sponsor, they will also have their name displayed on the rear bumper of the car (instead of our website address). All sponsors are also displayed on our website (dfwalerts.WordPress.com) in our sponsor section and, they are made clickable (if sponsor has a website or twitter/facebook page).
Individuals may help us with vehicle expenses by sending funds (via PayPal) to: email@example.com with the memo “ALERT CAR”.
