PHOTOS OF DAMAGE FROM AUG. 12, 2012 STORMS

The Fort Worth Stockyards was hit by high winds ranging from 60-75 MPH. The above photographs show only some of the damage as winds ripped sheet metal and rooftops off of buildings.

The power was off in an area from the Fort Worth Stockyards to Lake Worth. This included traffic signals.

As we drove through the area, we witnessed many people ignoring the fact that they still needed to come to a full stop. This lead to several close calls.

SCHEDULED ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE COULD CAUSE PROBLEMS. #ERCOT

ERCOT has asked that Texas residents try to conserve electricity today between 4 pm – 7 pm. While they are doing scheduled maintenance.  They are no expecting any power outages unless there is a huge breaker trip.
